Astrology is a science in itself and contains - as illuminating body of knowledge which through the position of planets, constellation, rashis, bhawas  & its movements unfolds the mysteries of human life, the unverse  & thereby its destiny.

Our birth & death are neither the beginning nor the end of life.

Our birth is neither a coincidence nor the result of some whim & fancy.

It is the consequence of thousands of cycles of previous births & deaths & accumulated actions i.e. karmas (Action).

 What ever  we are to-day; is the result of our action of yesterday & what ever we will be tomorrow  would be the result of our past &  present actions. We know our action & its results of this birth only; to a some extent, but accumulated actions of our previous births we know not; which play a very significant role in moulding our mind & shaping our soul.

 Our Rishis through thousands of years of meditative intuition have discovered the links and cross-links which make life’s endless chain from thought to truth. They have unraveled the mystery of our past karma - knowing them would lead to transformation & fulfillment of our life.’Yet pindey tat brahmandy’ - the microcosm mirrors the macrocosm; representing & reflecting minutest actions of our mind & body.  This supreme cosmic computer having millions of galaxies with its position of planets, constellation, signs of zodiacs & its movements not only records our actions but also acts its executor. 

 Thus the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn etc. are the causative planets for our soul, mind, expression, knowledge & wisdom, love & affection, experience etc. respectively. They live around us in the form of our father, mother, brother, sister, Guru, wife etc. In fact all our nine human gods are  incarnations of nine planets-  Shri Ram from Sun, Krishna from Moon, Narshingh from Mars, Budhavtar from Budh, Vamanavtar from Guru, Parshuram from Venus, vitar form Shani, Varahavtar from Rahu & Matsayavtar from Ketu.To show the way to the humanity that it is not impossible to lead a life like human being.

 our ancients have developed a method which is called Jyotish Shastra or Astrology, by which   parallelism between position of planets and our actions can be established - timing of events in the universe and in the individual consciousness here; a method for the interpretation at several levels of the relationship between casually unrelated sets of phenomenon; enabling us to find the state of development of the various organic activities and function within all living organism.

I have therefore endeavored to write about these esoteric science study of which is not contrary to the dictates of reason, but in accordance with those natural laws, which constitute nature and control mankind.

कालसर्प योग व मांगलिक दोष ज्योतिष शास्त्र

एक कहावत है कि संसार में उसी वस्तु की नकल होती है जिसकी माँग अधिक होती है. प्राचीन समय में ज्योतिष केवल आवश्यकता थी परन्तु आज के दौर में आवश्यकता के साथ-साथ ज्योतिष एक फैशन भी बन गया है. ज्योतिष का अर्थ है 'ज्योति दिखलाना'. मनुष्य के जीवन में लाभ-हानि, अनुकूलता-प्रतिकूलता, शुभता-अशुभता या अच्छा-बुरा कब-कब होगा इसको ज्योतिष के माध्यम से ही जाना जा सकता है.

वास्तव में ज्योतिष का अर्थ होता है व्यक्ति को जागरुक/ सचेत करना, परन्तु समाज में कुछ पोंगापण्डितो द्वारा गलत प्रयोग करने अर्थात लोगो को सही जानकारी देने की बजाए उनको भयभीत कर धन कमाने के कारण कई बार इस बिद्या की विश्वसनीयता पर प्रश्नचिन्ह लग जाता है. इस लेख के माध्यम से ज्योतिष शास्त्र के उन तथ्यो के बारे में जानकारी दी जायेगी जिनसे आमजन अक्सर भयभीत रहते है तथा उपायो के नाम पर कुछ ज्योतिषी किस प्रकार आम लोगो को ठगते हैं, इस बात का भी उल्लेख किया जाएगा.

1) मांगलिक दोष / कुजा दोष (Mangalik Dosh / Kuja Dosha)
जन्मकुण्डली के 1,4,7,8, एंव 12वें भाव में मंगल के होने से जातक/जातिका (Native) मांगलिक (Mangalik) कहलाते हैं. विवाह के समय कुण्डली मिलान में मांगलिक दोष देखा जाता है. मंगल पापी ग्रह (Malefic Planets) है या सदैव हानि करता है ऎसी धारणा अल्पज्ञानी ज्योतिषियो की हुआ करती हैं. सत्य यह है कि मंगल पापी ग्रह न होकर क्रूर स्वभाव वाला ग्रह है. राजनैतिक गुणो से दूर मंगल सरल स्वभाव वाला ग्रह है. परन्तु यदि कोई मंगल प्रभावित व्यक्ति से छेड्छाड् करता है तो मंगल उसे नीति की बजाए हिंसा से सबक सिखाता है. जिसके स्वभाव में सरलता हो, निष्कपटता हो, कर्तव्यपरायणता हो व दृढ्ता हो , ऎसे सदगुणो से भरपूर मंगल ग्रह को यदि कोइ अज्ञानी पापी ग्रह कहता है तो उसकी बुद्धि प्रश्नचिन्ह लगने योग्य है.

2) कालसर्प योग (Kalsarpa Yog)
आजकल चारो तरफ कालसर्प योग की बहुत ही चर्चा है. यदि आपका समय कुछ अच्छा नहीं चल रहा है और ऎसे में यदि आप किसी ज्योतिषी से सम्पर्क करते हैं तो अधिकतर ज्योतिषी किसी न किसी तरह से आपको कालसर्प (पूर्ण या आंशिक) योग (Half/ full Kalsarpa Yog) से पीडित बताते हैं. सबसे पहले आपको यह जानकारी दी जाती है कि कालसर्प योग होता क्या है. किसी भी जन्मकुण्डली में यदि सूर्य से लेकर शनि ग्रह तक (Starting from Sun to Saturn in a Birth Chart) सातो ग्रह राहु व केतु की एक दिशा में आ जाते है तो जन्मकुण्डली कालसर्प योग से पीडित हो जाती है.

सबसे पहले हम यह जानेंगे कि कालसर्प योग की उत्पत्ति का प्रमाण किन ग्रन्थो में मिलता है. ज्योतिष की उत्पत्ति वेदो से हुई है तथा इसे वेदो का अंग (नेत्र) भी माना जाता है, किसी भी वेद (Veda), संहिता एंव पुराणो में कालसर्प नामक योग का उल्लेख नहीं मिलता, यहाँ तक कि भृगुसंहिता, पाराशर एंव रावण संहिता(Bhrigu Sanghita, Parashar Sanghita And Ravan Sanghita ) आदि मुख्य ग्रन्थों में भी इस योग की चर्चा तक नहीं है. अब जो महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न सामने आता है वो यह है कि जब इस योग का विवरण किसी भी प्रामाणिक ग्रन्थ/ शास्त्र में नहीं मिलता तो फिर यह कहाँ से और कब प्रकट हुआ. खोज करने पर यह मालूम पडा कि 80 के दशक में इस योग का आविर्भाव दक्षिण भारत की ओर से हुआ और जिस परिश्रम के साथ इस मनघड्न्त योग पर कार्य हो रहा है तो हो सकता है कि आने वाले समय में कालसर्प नाम से कोइ ग्रन्थ भी उपलब्ध हो जाये. वैसे तो दक्षिण भारत के प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिर्वेद श्री रमन जी इत्यादि इस मनघडन्त योग की सच्चाई आमजन के सामने रख ही चुके है फिर भी मान लो कालसर्प योग एक सच्चाई है तो हम इसे तर्क की कसौटी पर परख कर देखते हैं.

पश्चिमी ज्योतिष (Western Astrology) में तो राहु-केतु नाम से कोइ ग्रह ही नहीं है, अच्छा हम भारतीय ज्योतिष की बात करते हैं. राहु-केतु को छाया ग्रह माना गया है इनका अपना कोइ स्वतन्त्र अस्तित्व ही नहीं है. राहु अकेला होने पर शनि तुल्य एंव केतु अकेला होने पर मंगल ग्रह का प्रभाव रखते हैं, इस तर्क से ही कालसर्प योग अप्रामाणिक सिद्ध हो जाता है. यदि हम एक अन्य उदाहरण ले तो उसके अनुसार राहु-केतु (Rahu-Ketu) के मध्य अन्य सभी ग्रहो के होने पर यह योग बनता है, तो यदि किसी ग्रह की राहु या केतु पर दृष्टि पड् रही हो तो भी कालसर्प योग खण्डित हो जाता है, क्योकि दोनो छाया ग्रह (Chhaya Graha) होने से इन दोनो (राहु-केतु) पर जिस भी ग्रह की दृष्टि पड्ती है उसी ग्रह के अनुसार फल देने के लिए बाध्य है. अब हम दूसरी तरह से विचार करते कि मान लो राहु-केतु नामक छाया ग्रह अपने प्रभाव से अन्य सात ग्रहो को बाँध देते हैं तो सूर्य का सभी ग्रहो का राजा कहलाया जाना बेकार है, बृहस्पति का देवगुरु (Dev Guru) होना प्रभावहीन है तथा शनि जैसे कलयुग में सबसे प्रभावशाली (कारक) (Karak) माना जाता है.
